Overview


The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 set out the requirements for a range of aspects associated to the management of health and safety at work. In particular, the Regulations define requirements for risk assessments and the provision of health and safety arrangements. The regulations stipulate protections and the need for risk assessment in relation to temporary workers, new and expectant mothers, and the protection of young persons. 

The regulations support the Health and Safety at Work etc. 1974 Act. There are chapters detailing requirements for:
