The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Chemical Agents) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 amend the existing regulations from 2001 to align them with various directives issued by the European Union.
These directives aim to enhance workplace safety and health by regulating the handling, use, and exposure to chemical agents. These regulations ensure that Irish workplaces comply with European standards regarding chemical safety.
This regulation comes into force on 12th of May 2021.
