The purpose of the MPQC is to fulfil the extractive sector’s need for a safe, competent and sustainable workforce through the setting and maintaining of standards and qualifications, ensuring quality training and assessment. MPQC is formed of three divisions; MP Awards, MP Futures and MP Skills. The three divisions operate independently of one another and are governed and regulated by a range of Government Bodies and Independent Regulators. The Mineral Products Qualifications Council (MPQC) was established to help develop and maintain industry training needs. The Accreditation Scheme is used to enhance industry services by enforcing certain industry standards on training and quality, awarding certificates to organisations who pass their quality and supply chain assessments.
