Overview


The Work at Height Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 apply to employers, self-employed persons, and any person who controls the work of others at height, where a fall could cause personal injury. This includes construction companies, facilities management providers, maintenance contractors, utilities, warehousing operations, and any business whose employees use ladders, scaffolds, roofs, platforms or elevated work equipment. The Regulations also impose duties on individual workers.
