The Personal Injuries (NHS Charges) (Amounts) Regulations 2015

Made: 01-02-2015 | Laid: 20-02-2015 | Forced: 20-02-2015

Overview

The main purpose of these Regulations are to increase the charges recoverable from persons who pay compensation to a person for an injury in cases where that injured person receives National Health Service hospital treatment or ambulance services. The increase in charges reflects the uplift to Hospital and Community Health Services (HCHS) annual inflation. They also consolidate the Personal Injuries (NHS Charges) (Amounts) Regulations 2007 and numerous other amending instruments to simplify the legislative landscape.
