Overview


These Rules allow parties appearing in contested cases before the Patent Office (which operates under the name the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), to use an address for the service of documents anywhere in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the Channel Islands. UK law currently requires parties appearing in such cases to provide a UK address.
